Hi, Iām Abigail!
ā but everyone calls me Gail. I spend much of my daily life chasing around three tiny beings (two kids and a dog), maintaining my NYT crossword streak, and attempting to read through a large pile of books I can't seem to stop adding to. I'm not ashamed to admit that I sometimes find making spreadsheets and lists VERY relaxing. I have a Masters in Philosophy which has played a pivotal role in my journey toward psychotherapy, but please don't ask me to remember anything about it! While I can sometimes be an over-planner and over-thinker, I'm happy to say my own journey through therapy and self-reflection has helped me peacefully manage my own anxious tendencies.
I love working with people who yearn for a better world for themselves and others, but feel held back by their own patterns of thoughts and behaviors. My most profound joys come from seeing my clients recognize their own worth, and unearthing the courage to live it out. I am genuinely passionate about the way I practice therapy, and I'm confident you will be too!
